A little about me—I forest bath and I’m a tree hugger and I’ve been trying to protect endangered species since 1991 when I wrote former president George Bush Senior a letter to encourage him to protect the Spotted Owl. All that got me was a manila envelope with a plethora of White House pamphlets. Alas, I digress...
I’m a passionate illustrator with a focus on flora and fauna. Blending strong artistic technique with thoughtful character development has helped form my artistic voice over the last few years. My work often explores whimsical themes in nature and I enjoy bringing ideas to life through a mix of digital and traditional media.
My main focus in illustration has been my personal brand, Mooi Bos. However, children’s books, product packaging and editorial illustration have forever been on my radar as future pursuits that I’m excited to explore.
I’m excited by opportunities that let me visually problem-solve and contribute to meaningful creative work. Tools I work with include Procreate, Procreate Dreams, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I always bring curiosity, professionalism, and a love for visual storytelling to every project.
